Produced in small batches, which is typical of the Knob Creek Distillery, this rye whiskey is characterized by artisanal distillation and careful barrel aging, which give it its depth and character. Knob Creek Rye is made from 95% rye, which gives it a strong spiciness and an unmistakable sharpness that is typical of rye whiskey. The rye is distilled together with corn and malted barley malt and matured in toasted oak barrels, giving it a particularly balanced taste with a mixture of sweet, spicy and woody notes. The maturation in the barrels ensures a balanced complexity and depth, which is perfectly accentuated by the high alcohol strength of the whiskey.
