Like its predecessors, it was created using the same—or a very similar—mash bill (consisting of 53% rye, 14% barley, and 33% corn). In our opinion, the wood steps slightly into the background, allowing space for powerful grain notes.

The water used to produce Woodford Reserve is sourced directly at the distillery. It undergoes natural filtration through the limestone deposits on the property.
